Gunfire erupted at a baby shower in a Queens neighborhood, leaving one person dead and three others injured in a tragic turn of events.

Authorities received 911 calls reporting an assault in progress around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday at a venue along Atlantic Avenue in Richmond Hill. Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple gunshot victims at the scene.

Fatalities and Injuries: 

A 24-year-old man struck in the chest, was run to Jamaica Hospital but succumbed to his injuries. 

Two additional victims, aged 45 and 25, sustained single gunshot wounds and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. 

Subsequently, a 43-year-old man arrived at Jamaica Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

Suspect at Large: 

As investigations unfolded, authorities continued the search for the shooter responsible for the deadly attack. 

The motive behind the gunfire remains unclear, with no details provided by the police regarding the events leading up to the incident.
