AC/DC Announces Golden Anniversary Vinyl Reissues

In celebration of their 50-year milestone, iconic Australian rock band AC/DC is set to release their entire catalog on vibrant gold vinyl.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of their highly anticipated comeback concert tour and promises to delight fans old and new.

The AC/DC 50 Collection

Scheduled for release on March 15, the “AC/DC 50” collection will include the band’s first nine albums, each pressed on stunning gold vinyl.

Fans can expect classics such as High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, and Back in Black to be included in this special release.

New Colored Pressings

In addition to the golden vinyl collection, AC/DC enthusiasts can pre-order new colored pressings of Highway to Hell (orange blend) and Back In Black (black/white blend) from the band’s official webstore.

Powering Up for a European Tour

The band, featuring singer Brian Johnson and guitarist Angus Young, among others, is gearing up for a pan-European tour.

Notably, this lineup includes Chris Chaney of Jane’s Addiction, who replaces longtime bassist Cliff Williams. The tour, their first in eight years, is scheduled to kick off on May 17th.

Record-Breaking Success

AC/DC’s recent album, Power Up, soared to the top of charts worldwide, marking their third Billboard 200 chart-topper and their fourth UK No. 1 album.

In Australia, the album secured their sixth chart-topper, solidifying their status as the only Australian group with No. 1 albums in each of the past five decades.

A Rock Legacy

Formed in Sydney in 1973, AC/DC’s impact on the music industry is undeniable. Inducted into various halls of fame, including the ARIA Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, their influence spans generations.

With Back In Black enshrined in the Grammy Hall Of Fame, AC/DC’s legacy continues to resonate with audiences worldwide.
